That little speck of red in the middle is an artist named Aryz, who is doing the artwork for Skelethon. I talked to him a bit about it. The cover will be a cat’s skeleton. He also said that he thinks the record comes out in June.

Optogenetic stimulation of a hippocampal engram activates fear memory recall
According to a press release From MIT, the Tonegawa lab, has evidence to suggest that not only is the engram(memory) a physical thing, but it resides in individual cells.
If this is true, it will be an incredible finding. While I am very excited to see these kind of breakthroughs in the Dept. where I will be working this summer. I must remain skeptical until I have a chance to read the Nature article (which is currently paywalled).
This is nonetheless a huge finding, that will inspire much debate and further research, which is what makes the dialogue of Science beautiful.
